more on-topic, slave owners shouldn't be blamed for anything. the way i look at it is, early on it was rare to see another race, and how many settlers in america had seen africans at that time? how do you know they didn't really think of them as people (like they were). if you ask me, that's not opression as much as it is culture shock or whatever you'd like to call it.

also, get educated and realize that the african race was not the first race to have members of it turned into slaves. slavery has been around for a long, long, time. do not take all the fucking glory.

Did I ever say that Africans were the first race to be enslaved? No. In our case, it was the worst, though. Millions of Africans were shipped across the middle passage. In certain colonies, the slave population heavily outnumbered the free population. Africa was robbed of it's natural and human resources. That has never happend to an entire continent before.
