Any abilities that he had access to in the game he has access to here, unless the judges call foul on any of his abilities.

I say Mantis. Why? He can read minds. There's not a single thing Seymour could do to outmaneuver Mantis' mental probes. He would anticipate all of Seymour's attacks, and would counter them accordingly.

Yeah, its not exactly fair though, since in Metal Gear you had to change controller slots to defeat him so he couldn't read your mind. I don't know what a non-controller fight equivalent of that would be?

Heh, honestly, if Seymour can figure out a way to get past the mind reading, Mantis has no chance what-so-ever.

There are multiple variations of Seymour at his disposal, which gives a shit load of great skills, magic, etc. to use.

Seymour:

Multi-Thundara - Double lightning based magic attack.
Thundara - Lightning based magic attack.
Multi-Blizzara - Double ice based magic attack.
Blizzara - Ice based magic magic attackr.
Multi-Watera - Double water based magic attack.
Watera - Water based magic attack.
Multi-Fira - Double fire based magic attack.
Fira - Fire based magic attack.
Shell - Damage received by magic is cut in half.
Summon Anima - Summons the Aeon Anima.

Which leads to Anima's skills:

Special Attack:
Pain: Extremely damaging attack, with a high chance of instant death.

Skills:
Sleep Attack
Silence Attack
Blind Attack
Sleep Buster
Silence Buster
Blind Buster
Zombie Attack

Black Magic:
Fire
Thunder
Water
Blizzard
Fira
Thundara
Watera
Blizzara
Firaga
Thundaga
Waterga
Blizzaga
Bio
Death

Overdrive:
Oblivion: Massive non-elemental damage.

Of course, those skills shouldn't work on a main boss of any game, so those are basically insignificant. Also, of course Firaga > Fira > Fire, but because it costs MP's to use each spell, they are still at Anima's disposal just in case it runs low on MP, which at high levels, it basically never does.

Overdrive occurs when Anima is damaged a lot, and is not to be messed with. I'm guessing all the Black Magic is basically self-explanatory, so I didn't bother writing a description for them.

Now, Seymour Flux:

Flare - Non-elemental magic damage.
Lance of Atrophy - Physical damage and Zombie status to one character.
Protect - Damage received by physical attacks is cut in half.
Dispel - Nullifies all good status ailments from your entire group.
Reflect - Reflects some spells on himself.

Next, Seymour Natus:

Break - Uses Petrification on one person.
Banish - Counter attack on an aeon, and makes them get killed automatically no
matter what.
Multi-Blizzara - Ice based magic attack on two characters.
Multi-Fira - Fire based magic attack on two characters.
Multi-Watera - Water based magic attack on one character.
Multi-Thundara - Lightning based magic attack on one character.
Protect - Damage received by physical attacks is cut in half.
Flare - Non-elemental magic damage on one person.

Finally, Seymour Omnis:

Dispel - Nullifies all good status ailments from your entire group.
Ultima - Non-elemental magic damage on every person.
Thundara - Lightning based magic attack.
Fira - Fire based magic attack.
Watera - Water based magic attack.
Blizzara - Ice based magic attack.
Thundaga - Lightning based magic attack.
Firaga - Fire based magic attack.
Waterga - Water based magic attack.
Blizzaga - Ice based magic attack.

Now, Psycho Mantis:

He is a former member of the KGB's Psychic Intelligence, this FOXHOUND member has powerful telekinetic and mind-reading abilities.

In all honestly, the only reason Mantis was even able to read his mind and didge all his attacks is because non of the attacks he faced was magic attacks. It is easy to dodge a bullet when you know where it is going to hit, but to dodge an elemental black magic that gets casted on a target, not a spot, seems impossible to dodge to me. I might be wrong, but I don't think magic really ever misses, but it can be nullified or the damage can get lessened, and I know Mantis doesn't ahve any of those abilities.

Seymour without a doubt.

Yeah, I'm thinking Seymour here as well. I think the highest Magic dodge rate in any FF game was like 10% or something, but that's only for Magic-based characters (which I don't think Mantis is)

That "Zombie Attack + Life thing" option he used at one point works as well... I think even Jecht could be killed by that one.

UNLESS SEYMOUR PLUGGED HIS CONTROLLER INTO THE SECOND SLOT! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ! Actually I would go with Psycho Mantis because he has learned from his above mistake and learned to read from both slots and now he is ever invincible. He would psychically make Seymour use his powers on his-self. Psycho Mantis is definately the bigger man here!

That is a ridiculous argument.

He can't dodge all the magic attacks being thrown at him. Simple enough I'd think.
