i broke my hand once, when i punched a wall, trying to do a 5inch punch. only i had the great luck of punching a stud, and when your applying a force 4 times your bodyweight over a distance of 5 inches (or the lenght of your fingers) into a wall with a stud behind it, lets just say i was crying :-P
