What I'm saying about Tom Cruse is that he's hit his peak a long time ago and didn't really try after it...I'm not saying that all old actors that have been in the biz for a long time are bad...I'm just saying that some are...like take his ex-wife...they've been in the biz for...almost an even amount of time and she's AMAZING...just great! but he's past his prime...

I don't blame Cruise. What was wrong with The Last Samurai? The movie fucking owned, but the ending was a bit... cheesy doesn't cover it fully. I'd hardly take that "maybe he died" explanation as a reason for it to be open-ended.

Cruise is by no means past his prime. I guarantee he will continue making blockbusters for 2 more decades to come, give or take a few years. Jinx is clearly biased toward actresses.
