Just beat Zelda 2...
Reply

God almighty, that's one of the hardest games I've ever played. I've been slaving away at the final dungeon for about three nights now, and I just kicked Dark Link's ass. Here's a tip for anybody that tries to play through this monster and gets stuck on the Great Temple: if you see breakable blocks on the floor, bust every one of them. I was damn near pulling my hair out over that one. I finally broke down and used GameFAQs to figure it out.

So, at this point, I have played and beaten every Zelda game in the series save for Four Swords Adventures (which I'm currently playing), Link's Awakening (which I'll start next) and the two Oracle games (which I have no interest in playing). And don't any of you smartasses say "but hey, Raz, you haven't beaten the three shitty Phillips CD-i games yet!" You know damn good and well that those aren't Zelda games, just a horrible mockery of the series. Booya, Zelda.

I remember playing zelda like 8-10 years ago, dont know if this was zelda 2, I do think so. Is this on the original NES cause that's what I was playing it on.

I'm playing link to the past right now, I'm in the dark world Ice dungeon right now which is I beleive the fifth 1? It's beginning to get difficult here (small rooms with lots of enemy's who take 2 harts when they hit you and take about 5 slashes with tampered master sword to kill )

I've played the oracle games, they're not as good as the other ones but they're still zelda

Have you picked up the Blue Armor yet? If not, it's no wonder those enemies are hurting you so badly.

I never beat the game, got bored with it after a while. It was kind of fun for a while though, but I don't like the whole sidescrolling platform element for a Zelda game.

Eh, I thought it was a nice change of pace. My big problem with the game was how ungodly difficult it was. The first one was certainly a challenge, but the second one was a nightmare. I've been steadily playing that game since I got the Collector's Disc back in October or November (can't remember exactly when) and I just finished it tonight. It was just unfairly hard.

Awakening is pretty fun. Think of A Link to the Past but slightly more linear. Other than a bit of storyline and a little less mass, it's the same (style) game basically.

I'm guessing you are talking about Adventures of Link(The sidescrolling game) raziel?

I love that game but I've never beaten it because it is very hard.

Well, actually the name of the game is Zelda II.

The subtitle is close to what you said.

The Adventure of Link

Well, I my self think that link to the past was a really great game and have beaten it billions of times. so the 5th dungeon you say. is that the one where you have to be in the light world then transport into the dark world from the black rock on that small triangualr island? That one is a bitch, 2nd hardest level, actually 1st hardest. I think there is a room where you are chased by a yellow monster thing that changes you into the bunny and there are also swinging fire chain things as well as those skulls with fireballs surrounding them. Well here is a well regarded family secret. If you use your magic powder on the skulls, they will change into faeiries, and you can use your bug catchers net to keep them in bottles. This way you can always live. I think the boss is a...Mothra looking thing. Well that's all I remember right now. I should play the game again so I can help you.

Yes thats the one, and omg thx dude I didnt know about that skulls turning into fairies with magic powder thing that should make things a little bit easier

Omg using bombos medaillion is pwn, I walk in the room, make sure see all the enemy's and when I use it they're dead. 70% of the time they drop magic potions so my magic gauge refills, if they dont drop that I'll have a botle of magic potion for backup
