I thought Exile gives a certain lvl of Defiance Aura??? Does this mean more defense? If it does, then a few hundred def wouldn't matter too much, right? Sorry, never had a Pally...

any def u can get is good, especially in 1.10 dude, thats y u can upgrade items. they keep same stats, just improve def

Def in 1.10 is less important than Resis.

Most people have max resists easy.

Actually, yes.

For example, 200 more def on the shield would approximate another 700-800 def total after lvl 16 defiance. That's not counting holy shield.
