Story: 3/10
Regardless of how childish you may consider the Harry Potter books, I love them. They are probably my favorite books all time, but it's a terrible story to try and make a movie on. In my opinion, the movies have tarnished the books' legacy. This movie's storyline diverts much more from the book's storyline than the previous two movies did, and the new parts in the story just make it worse. There are fantasy movies, and then there is something like this. It is great to imagine in your head while reading it, but it is terrible to see on a screen.
Cinematography: 5/10
Nothing too amazing. Ofcourse, with the late surge in cinematography, it will probably be extremely difficult to get a high score in this field. There were some decent scenes, but nothing to get excited about.
Acting: 5/10
Again, nothing too amazing. In fact, the acting was mediocre at best. I may be giving the actors too much credit by giving them five stars. Ofcourse, any movie with such a convoluted plot is probably extremely difficult to act, so I'll give them 5.
Overall: 4/10
Don't waste your money on this movie. If you have to see it, wait for it to come out on DVD.
