Question Most Overplayed song?
Reply
Posted 2004-05-14, 02:27 PM
Listening to the radio, drivning to school or whatever. What song always seems to be playing? Usher's - Yeah. That cd has been out for like a month, and its played about 60 times a day. I like the song alright, but goddamn the radio stations play it way too much.

~Whats the most overplayed song where You live?

I agree with both of those, but everytime I turn on VH1 or MTV in the past months it's been Evanescense's My Immortal and Bring Me To Life. Lil Jon and Eastside Boyz I only hear at my dances and other people's houses cuz they love it.

Any song. I got sick and tired of hearing the same 5-10 bands being played over and over again on each station, that i have pretty much discontinued listening to the radio. If my friends like it, ill go download it and listen to it on my computer. Then if its good ill buy the cd.

In my area it's Liz Phair. Goddamnit I wish she were dead. I hate her talentless unimaginative songs so effing much.

That and Jessica Simpson "When I'm With You" and Avril Lavigne. It's the unholy trio of crappy music.

Britney Spears' "Toxic" (I think. I don't keep track anyway.). Fucking annoying. Which is why I only listen to Rock stations. Like, for instance, 107.7. Kickass station.

I don't listen to the radio and I don't watch MTV or VH1. So, I suppose I'd have to base the answer off the the most annoying source of music that I frequently encounter: my younger brother. With that in mind, my answer would be anything by The Ataris or Yellowcard. I fucking hate those bands.
