Ok it seemed like the easiest thing to set up but when i hit the locate button and yes d2 was loaded and i was in the chat room window, a window pops up and says "Diablo2 is NOT loaded!" um no u stupid program it is!!! anyone kno what i did or didnt do?
If you haven't corrected this yet, check to see what your Window title is on your Diablo window. If you use D2Loader, you'll likely need to reset the title to Diablo II.
You'll need to add -title "Diablo II" in your shortcut's .exe path.
Edit: You'll also likely need to run it windowed. That is accomplished with -w
