What Adrenachrome said is right. They shouldnt be able to get married... if they want the rights then a Union or w/e it is, is fine by me.

Honestly, I'm glad that Bush sided that way. All moral reasoning aside, its just my fucking opinion that it is wrong. God didn't enable two members of the same sex to not be able to reproduce on their own for a reason. Gays weren't intended in historical perspectives, obviously.

Cocaine dealers in Columbia effect me as much as a gay marriage in San Francisco, which is little to none. Of course this isn't the same for everyone, but in my case, it pertains perfectly, and there isn't anything anyone can say to refute that.

They say they want the financial benefits.. Why do they think they deserve it?
The benefits are for a couple that's going to provide for society as a married couple, point being procreation, the benefits are so the married couple can afford to properly raise children, No offense meant, but I really don't think same sex couples can provide both of the essiential elements to good child development, Mother and father. So that rules out the basis on wanting the financial benefits... or something like that.

Bush is an idiot if he even think's it has a small possibility of passing. It's completely unconstitutional. The government has no right what-so-ever to tell people who they can and can't marry. It's a decision between two adults who are in love with eachother, and no one else. If two people want to get married, it's their fucking choice. To put an idiotic ban on such a thing as Same-sex Marriages is prejudism.

The church that I goto supports Gay couples. My church is part of the United Church of Christ (UCC). There are two gay couples that are members of my church.

Also there have been gay biships, etc.

1) Smoking weed is illegal almost everywhere in the US
2) Church and state are supposed to be separate anyway, therefore, "God" should not be a part of this. You don't have to be religious, etc to think that it isn't right. I'm an atheist, I'm against gay marriage.
3) It isn't really judging people. They're not imprisoning those that are married, they're just keeping them from being married in the first place.

4) Never say something is stupid because you dont' agree with it, it shows your immaturity.
