I guess it wouldn't hurt to chuck away a sixth of my paycheck and go buy one. I've definately been considering it for a while and I've always been impressed with the fact that the Gamcube's library stresses and shines with quality rather than quantity. Nintendo is always number one in my eyes when it comes to flat out game quality.
