In reference to your issue with the items disappearing, did you die more than once with equipment on? If you: Die, re-equip yourself, die again, and then proceed to leave the game, only *1* of your corpses is saved, the one with the most gold value is saved and brought to next game. The other corpse does not follow you to the next game.

I have been playing D2 for over 3 years, so I'm not a newbie. I died twice in game and was careful NOT TO EQUIP items. I didn't even attempt to access my 2 corpses. I made a new game because I could see that I couldn't get to my corpses. Upon joining a game two item that I had transferred to that character earlier were simply gone.

1.10 has changed a lot of things, people are still finding things new about it, so the previous 3 years experience only count for a little. Same thing here.

As far as the items go, upon a rare occasion, the game may De-Sync from the server and roll back to a point after you xferred the items. This happens a lot more when the realm is unstable from DoS attacks or massive duping. I've had this happen occasionally as well, but then, nothing is perfect.

I can not believe I am still reading this bullshit instead of doing my project like I should be doing. Blizzard is good enough to keep you all hooked...if it sucks then quit playing d2...problem solved.

Even though I don't trade and have only found one each in three years of the two items I lost, I tend to agree with your statement. Sure, it sucks, but I can still play and I realize nothing is perfect, but I also believe that this was avoidable and possibly even intentional. This never ever happened in 1.09. I honestly believe that this is an attempt to get me to quit playing D2 because Blizzard loses money on it everyday due to upkeep of servers. I think I might still play just to make Blizzard pay a little more. Blizzard is a victim of it's own popularity. It's a love/hate thing nearly unequaled in online gaming.
