dont kno but similar thing happened 2 me. i was on my mage/tamer in wasteland when the shard went down 4 the week n when it came back i logged on 2 find i was ded. dont realy care cos all i lost was a few regs n stuff. mite hav been a bug or maybe the shard continued running when the connection was lost. dunno
