well, a couple days ago, my friend told me that she likes my drawings, but i never put enough detail.. so, obviously im going to try to prove her wrong! and this is what i came up with..
Well, for one, dont use line paper! For two, judging on the lines on the image and stuff, you should proooobably try realism for a few weeks, (ie use reference photos or your friends if you want, or a mirror...) then go back and see if you've improved.
What I've learned from living in this country : America is a bad word, so is Religion.
I have to agree with never using lined paper to draw. Computer paper is my choice to draw on. Also, it seems as if you had drawn an original sketch but erased it. May I recommend not starting out with darker lines, but instead a light sketch to begin with? If you don't already do that, of course. It makes for easier clean-up and changes later on.
But back on topic, doesnt look liek she started with a sketch then erased, looks like she used a no.7 pencil and outlined her drawing and the led rubbed off on her fingers and as she drew more the led rubbed on the paper from her fingers. Just an experienced artist's perspective.
