Hey, like I said, I'm having a little problem hooking up my wireless adapter to the cable modem base.
The base computer is hooked up and works fine. The system is in Normal mode for it, so it is definitely properly setup.
I have 4 other computers I'm trying to setup to connect with the base, and they are all wireless adapters. Do I need to purchase a new IP address for each computer? I thought I read something like that somewhere, but I don't really know if its true or not.
Has anyone else had to do this type of setup before? If so, please help me out a little. I can connect temporarily with the base computers network, but it insists on telling me that the ICS is unplugged.... I'm working with wireless adapter though!!!! Uuuuugggghhh, any help is appreciated.
I have never worked with a wireless network, but I'll throw my thoughts onto the table. You will need different IP addresses on all connections. You should set up whatever is the "server" computer for DHCP so all the computer on the network will not haev conflicting IPs. Or, set them manually through network settings.

What is ICS? Internet Connection Sharing? But why then would it say it's unplugged?
