This game is set to release june 23rd

The following article is from nintendo.com:

F-Zero will be a souped-up installment of the supersonic racing franchise, developed by SEGA for Nintendo GameCube.

Check out the screen shots page for some awesome-looking early development shots of this game.

The Japanese arcade version of the game, tentatively titled F-Zero AC, was recently revealed in Tokyo at the AOU (All Nippon Amusement Machine Operators' Union) arcade show.

To support F-Zero AC's premiere at the show, Nintendo Co. Ltd. and Sega launched a new Japanese-language website at http://www.f-zero.jp/

Even though the site is in Japanese, you shouldn't have any problem interpreting the incredible graphics and break-neck speed demonstrated in the site's impressive collection of screen shots and its eye-popping video clip of F-Zero AC in action.

To download the F-Zero AC video clip from the Japanese website, click here.

To check out the site's Downloads page, click here.

Stay tuned to nintendo.com for more information on the Nintendo GameCube version of F-Zero.

And here are some screen shots:

trust me, those are just the picture quality. there are demo videos on the master quest disc, and there is a video of f-zero. the graphics are much better than those pictures.

Yeah, single frame shots don't look nearly as smooth as the real thing.

Nice ;x Getting this game for sure. It looks like an awesome racing game. The visuals are great. We will have to wait for the gameplay to be sure, but it looks amazing.

I can't wait. The only thing that pisses me off is that none of my friends are going to want to do multiplayer on it. It's hard enough trying to get them to play Mario Kart, let alone something like F-Zero.

Man, everything is going online. I only have 56K, I can't play that crap.

I thought the N64 version sucked horribly, but that's just my opinion.

Nice to see Mute City is coming back. They had BETTER put the "mute city" song in there, though.. that's my favorite stage(s) (both on the SNES and the GC)

Now I have that music stuck in my head..

Heh, they prefer playing games that they have an adequate chance of beating me at. I turn my Mario Kart opponents into asphalt smears.
