I suppose I speak for everyone here; yes, we do. It's the most powerful graphics program out there. Get it first. No, it does not produce 3D shapes (as shown in mine and a couple others), but everything else. Once you understand Photoshop (6) well, try to find 3D Studio Max: one of the best 3D programs. If it's too hard for you to start, find Cinema 4D, like I use. It's limited, but is good for n00bs. I do not use it cause I'm a n00b (which I'm not)...but because my computer can't run max.
So yeah, almost everyone who does graphics uses Photoshop mainly, and if they do 3D, either Lightwave/Maya/3D Studio Max/Cinema etc...
