With my playing style, Me would be a waste. But I like to stand back sending fireballs into everyone whilst the henchies get into the thick of the action. The good thing about Mesmer is that it's a great interrupter, makes the most of MP and can hex something to hell and back. If that's the way you play, then obviously Mesmer is the choice to go for.
