Personally, look upon love as a natural drug, which can give you so strong affections toward someone that you want to tear down the walls when or if you can't see the person. It's an addiction, with emotional repercussion. Similarly to how you can get addicted to Heroine and Cocaine simultaneously, you can have strong affections toward multiple persons ad interim, despite what religious morals say.
