Post Galvanic Cell fluid test

Well, I know the fluid repels itself, which gives it a bouncy look, but you have to admit that it looks funny.

I avoided antialiasing for the scene as that would make the rendering times far too immense. Oh, and remember you'll need DivX to watch the clip!

Well, a galvanic cell, one of the most basic components in a battery, is not that extremely easy to describe. It generally has two different types of ions and an ion bridge to connect them and generate energy in some way. Of course, my simple animation doesn't show the actual ion bridge, it just has two fluids and a similar shape to a galvanic cell.

Is liquid hard? Or are you just newer at it?

Huh? I just took some of the properties of mercury mixed up with water in a low-gravity (or slow-motion) environment.

Try "lava lamp" Chruser.

A lava lamp doesn't exactly let the fluid connect with plain air anyway. :P

It kinda looks like the fluid is falling in low gravity.

I'm not planning to improve it, it was just a simple test anyway.

When I say "it", I mean 3D art in general.
