The dial-tone in my ear sent the same familiar feeling as I dial the number to her house.
Hello? A memorable voice answer in the usual phone-etiquette.
Hey Eadi, whats up I say sitting down at my computer.
Oh hey, Jason. Whats going on? She says.
Nothing much. Do you have my coat at your house? My voice over the phone crackles in her ear.
Yeah, I borrowed it from you the other day. Why, you need it back?
No, not really. I just wanted an excuse to come see you. I type a few things in the story I pulled up on my computer.
Well, she slightly laughs, thats just like you. Sure you can come see me.
Cool, Ill be there in a few minutes. I hang up the phone and save my document.
Minutes later I pulled up into Eadis driveway. I kill the engine and walk to the front door. The door opens and Eadi walks back to the living room. Last school years events are slowly fading away with time.
Closing the door behind me I follow Eadi into the living room and sit down on the sofa. The TV is blaring hard rock on some music video channel. Eadi walk through the door from the kitchen and sits on the sofa beside me.
