I am Catholic. I am proud of this fact. It is not something I regard as a huge honor but I respect it. I believe everyone should stick by their religion as much as possible. I do not aprove of several of Catholic beliefs such as homosexuallity being wrong. What do you believe in?
I too am Catholic, but I don't practice regularly. My mom is very religious, and wants me to be more, but I just don't feel as though I have to sit in a church for an hour a week to practice my faith.
I'm a roman catholic. I don't really follow all of it's beliefs, though. Like, I believe there is a god, but I don't believe that he really fiddles with anything in life. He just lets everything be. The only reason I stay Roman Catholic is due to personal reasons.
But anyway, I am an atheist. Before I decided to become one, I considered many religions, asked around, went to various churches, etc, and made an educated decision, not like a lot of these no-brained kids who go around acting all dark and goth just because Mommy used to yell at them a lot when they were young and Daddy drinks a beer or two now and then.
Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...
Thats what I thought the second I read that sentence... Anyways, I do believe in god, but like uncapped I dont believe he performs miracles or anything like that. I mostly believe because what happens after death is unknown.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I also don't believe that confessions will get you anywhere
We don't do missions We send our offerings to missionaries and some of them come to us to see if we want to help out more then we have...only some of it goes to our church and our preacher.

Non-denominational Christian. I wouldn't consider having religious beliefs to be an act of desperation (like Adrena is implying). I just don't like the idea that all of human history was an accident.
