Something wrong with me

Last night, unfortunately I felt like I had a stroke, or something just seriously was not right.

It started off with my brother and I 'chillin' in our back room, and after smoking some crip I was just chillin in the chair outside. I was very relaxed, and tilted my head back, at that time I felt like a pinch in my neck, and my vision seemed like it was fading out.

I got nervous at this point, and went to stand up, got severely dizzy, and noticed that the right side of my body was not wanting to cooperate. (You know that feeling you get when you sleep on your arm when you wake up? and it's still numb and doesn't want to move for a bit, well my entire side of the body was experiencing that) I stumble into the house and take some aspirin as a precautionary. I end up start to freak out and have my dad and brother come sit with me for a bit, and notice that the numbness ends up moving to both sides of my body and I still don't know what was going on, and I kept feeling so .. uncoordinated, like my inner ear was thrown off or something, very odd.

I finally go sit in the living room and tell my mom about it, she sits with me for about an hour watching the news, then I finally go to bed and fall asleep when the symptoms seemingly subsided.

Now, today I wake up, don't notice much of anything, but I get up and start to move around, and the symptoms are still there, just not as apparent. Right now the left side of my body has been tingling and I seriously don't know what my problem is. I was walking into work right now and I noticed it felt like my legs were sore like I had just got done working out the day before and it was hard to walk, but everything still works great. I'm not experiencing any memory loss or anything, my motor skills all seem to be working fine, I drove to work without any problems. I'm not experiencing any fatigue, I am still able to function at my job, but I still feel this weird ass tingle in one side of my body at a time, in which is weirdly seems to swap sides.

Now, I think I could have easily just pinched a nerve real good, and that's where all of this is steming from, but why would my symptoms have continued this long? I'm researching on MayoClinic and I don't think I had a stroke or anything, but still something just doesn't seem right, and i'm not sure if I want to go to a clinic or not at this point.

Studies suggest that self-diagnosis by search engines frequently leads web searchers to conclude the worst about what ails them. I don't think you should listen to anyone's advice here either in that regard, or it will most likely just fortify your position as a cyberchondriac. But since I'm a hypocrite, I'm still going to state that I think your ailment sounds pretty bad. Thus, you should see a doctor. At least it will grant you clarity.

Yeah I agree. I'm a bit of a worry-wart about things like this as well. It is a pinched nerve, after discussing it with my Grandmother (who's basically a Dr) she said it has to be a pinched nerve, just the way things happened it most likely has got to be it. The symptoms have pretty much gone away now that I just walked around the building at work, but it's still lingering slightly. She tells me the tingling can continue for another few hours or few days. But that I should try to avoid driving very far and take it easy on my neck.

No other symptoms since this time.

I watched this video today, and it reminded me of this thread.

BORKED

This is almost exactly my thoughts and actions when it happened, but I was very high on marijuana and it skewed my perception of my actual mind's thought processes.

Ah, the TED videos are excellent! I've been working my way back through the archives and am trying to go through every video that they've posted.
