Central/Southern Indiana is having the weirdest fucking weather in a long ass time. On Christmas we had 15 inches of snow. A week later it was 68 degrees. Now we have major ass flooding that is threatening a lot of shit. To top it all off it snowed 3 inches last night and was pouring down freezing rain. Freezing rain while being drunk is not a good combination. Look at this pic:
That's only a few miles from my house. Fortunately, I live on a hill (BITCHES!) but the rivers haven't even crested yet. They are supposed to raise another 5-6 inches coming Monday.
Well, it's obvious that our weather, as a world, is getting off kilter some. I talked with a friend in Australia who was talking about the 9.0 earthquake we had did something to the earth's axis or orbit, so now our weather will regress within the next 5000 years. Interesting stuff.
Wasn't as dramatic as Indiana but it did snow 3 days ago and reached 67 degrees here in New York.
Dumbass Global warming.
Do not blame global warming.
Scientists have leades that the jet-streams from the earthquake have increased causing both wind in the higher atmosphere( where the clouds blow ) and the water, causing the flooding and the mudslides.
It is also causing clouds more east, hence so much rain. Giant rainclouds that would've been in oh lets say micigan are now around the Boston area, ( My in-head US map is shit)
