Flood

Central/Southern Indiana is having the weirdest fucking weather in a long ass time. On Christmas we had 15 inches of snow. A week later it was 68 degrees. Now we have major ass flooding that is threatening a lot of shit. To top it all off it snowed 3 inches last night and was pouring down freezing rain. Freezing rain while being drunk is not a good combination. Look at this pic:

That's only a few miles from my house. Fortunately, I live on a hill (BITCHES!) but the rivers haven't even crested yet. They are supposed to raise another 5-6 inches coming Monday.

Gay weather.

It stopped snowing here, and nothing else is happening -_-

PureRebel 2005-01-13 12:27 AM

fuck i want snow bitch! it hasnt snowed here for like... ever. it snowed once apon a time, and that was it.

we never get floods here, but all the creeks and rivers around here are like 1-2m's lower than they should be.. its fucking wierd!

Thanatos 2005-01-13 06:07 AM

It's been raining ever since I posted this thread, basically. The rivers keep rising and half of southern Indiana is underwater. =\

PureRebel 2005-01-13 03:01 PM

SHOLY SHIT! you better hope the hill u live on is big enough if the floods go round your way.

kaos 2005-01-13 03:09 PM

Same fucking thing here...It snowed like seven yeasers ago and that was it since then...

News was being all dramatical about the storm here in california all there was was a few days of rain and thats it...

Oh yeah, and a mudslide in some small-ass city no ones really knows about or cares about seeing as how it's covered in mud now anyway.

sheerx 2005-01-13 07:34 PM

Wasn't as dramatic as Indiana but it did snow 3 days ago and reached 67 degrees here in New York.
Dumbass Global warming.

KagomJack 2005-01-13 07:45 PM

Well, it's obvious that our weather, as a world, is getting off kilter some. I talked with a friend in Australia who was talking about the 9.0 earthquake we had did something to the earth's axis or orbit, so now our weather will regress within the next 5000 years. Interesting stuff.

PureRebel 2005-01-13 11:02 PM

holy fuck its 47 degrees celcius here..
thats like 118 fahrenheit on the converter i just used @_@

Sovereign 2005-01-14 01:46 AM

Aus is a dessert ~_~. Water does not exist on the land!

HandOfHeaven 2005-01-14 08:59 AM

Oh shit, it's -13 degree Fahrenheit here.

Dr. Geekstar 2005-01-14 04:26 PM

Again, climate is fucked up.

We need more social engineers, because there is no cure for human stupidity.

People are sooo dumb (like we don't know why america doesn't support the kyoto protocol)

Jamesadin 2005-01-14 04:33 PM

Holy FUCK. Its going down to -60 C (Or -76 F) tonight with the wind chill. What the hell is going on with the weather on Earth these days?

Dr. Geekstar 2005-01-14 04:56 PM

Anyone saw 'the day after tomorrow' ???
Hope it happens to america... but not to any other continent... or canada... canada rules.

Jamesadin 2005-01-14 04:57 PM

Thats nice of you. I would rather have it happen...nowhere.

Do not blame global warming.

Scientists have leades that the jet-streams from the earthquake have increased causing both wind in the higher atmosphere( where the clouds blow ) and the water, causing the flooding and the mudslides.

It is also causing clouds more east, hence so much rain. Giant rainclouds that would've been in oh lets say micigan are now around the Boston area, ( My in-head US map is shit)

PureRebel 2005-01-15 04:52 AM

if the day after tommorow's events happened the whole world will be kicked in the ass except AUS! so die more plz!
