Cyber-bullying is more damaging to children than traditional playground bullying, researchers claim today.
|
What a sack of crap. Let me tell you something about these "researchers." These are probably the incarnates of the same assholes that told you that the world was flat, the ones who found the Y2K bug, and the ones who claimed that by the year 2000's cars would be flying."
Quote:
Experts say it leaves children with "no place to hide" and criticise the Government for failing to address the growing problem. A children's charity is calling for an urgent study into the extent of cyber-bullying in Britain.
|
No place to hide? If you're that much of a pussy then
get off the fucking internet. Oh my, my. Raziel, you horrible man. You bully children on the internet. They're going to commit suicide because of you!
FUCK THAT! If you're such an idiot to where anything that anyone says on the internet has any real negative impact on you, then maybe you don't deserve to live, and if your child is so young that stuff said on the internet has an impact on him, then try being
parents and start taking responsibility for your own damn brats.
A children's charity is calling for a study for this? This is why the fuck you don't give money to charities. You never know when they might be
insane.
Quote:
Dr Marilyn Campbell, who led the research, said: "With traditional bullying they can go home and escape, but with cyber bullying there is no getting away from it. Victims suffer worse consequences than those suffering at the hands of traditional bullies."
|
Once again, monitor your kids, or tell them
to get off the fucking internet.
Quote:
Attacks usually take the form of abusive text or chat-room messages, but Dr Campbell's research even found children set up special websites to bully others.
|
Dr. Campbell is another one of those uppity farts who takes great pride in his doctor status while getting money for shitting, I guess. Anyway, Maddox for president!
Quote:
"Cyber-bullies are posting personal information about the victim on the internet while letting all their peers know the web address via email," said Dr Campbell, of the Queensland University of Technology. "There is a feeling everybody in the peer group knows what's going on, whereas in face-to-face bullying it has only a small audience. There is also no way to retaliate."
|
How about teaching your kids to grow a pair and stand up for themselves? No, you're too damned lazy to try that. Obviously Dr. Campbell hasn't been in school for a while. When there's a fight,
the whole school knows. Small audience my ass. There's a much smaller audience on the internet, douche.
Quote:
John Carr of children's charity NCH backed the findings but called for the Government to do more to address the problem.
"This confirms our worst fears about online bullying," he said.
|
So now your little brat is the government's problem, huh? "Our worst fears about online bullying?" Holy shit, what is that?
Quote:
"For many children who are suffering, the text messages are really the last straw and it affects them very badly.
|
Those "many" children need to get a fucking life, fast. How about trying not to get on the internet if it bothers you that much. Or how about growing a pair, and whooping this bully's ass. How about learning to use the "block" feature of instant messengers?
Quote:
"They feel there is just no escape from it but they are so proud of having a mobile phone in the first place they don't want to give it up.
|
Children young enough to be affected by this type of inane tactic are too damned young to have a cell phone. So now you not only have a pussy for a kid, you have a
spoiled pussy. That's the worst type of pussy there.
Quote:
"The problem is that the children see their phone as their prized possession and are incredibly scared that if they own up to being bullied through it, it will be taken away. The same is true of internet access."
|
Or maybe they just don't have much of a problem with it, and that's why they haven't turned to their parents. What these kids need is to not be spoiled with cell phones, and if you want to give them a cell phone, and you have concerns of online bullying, then try providing a little bit of guidance to your kids. They should know not to be bothered by such tactics.
Quote:
The NCH conducted a national study two years ago and found 30 per cent of children had suffered from cyber bullying, and 19 per cent of all schoolchildren have had bullying text messages.
|
19 percent? That's all you found? Well, I'm definitely part of that 19 percent. Unfortunately, that number is skewed. I'm willing to bet you that 99% of all kids who have access to the computer have had some type of bullying message over the internet.
It's not a big deal.
Quote:
But experts claim the huge rise in the number of children with mobile phones means these figures may have rocketed.
Mr Carr said: "With traditional bullying you shut the bedroom door and it goes away. Now there is no escape.
|
Once again, get your pathetic ass outside.
Quote:
"We have already had cases of British children committing suicide because of online bullying.
|
Excellent. One less British, and one less pussy in the world. I was kidding where I said excellent to "one less British."
Quote:
"We need a thorough study, and it has got to be the Government funding it.
|
Why the fuck does the government need to fund this? You want my parents to pay taxes for your bullshit concerns about a select group of pussies whose parents have failed to raise them? Fuck you. If you really want to be doing this then
you need to fund it. Let the government take care of situations that really matter, such as trying to find a cure to a terminal disease.
