PvP Smiter, what to max?

I have never made a smiter and duno what to max besides smite. Can any1 tell me what skills would be good to max? Also if you could can you also tell me what exactly to max for an effective hammerdin? It would help alot since I cant seem to find a 1.10 strat guide anywhere.

For the smiter i never had one. But if i would make one here is what i would do. Max Smite, Holy Shield and Fanatism. I would put 15 in ice resist, fire resist and lightning resist. Then 1 in salvation.

This is because in 1.10 the cold. fire and lightning resist aura give you +aura lvl% max resist per level when active and when innactive +(aura lvl/2)% rounded down max resist. So this would mean that when you would trigger ice, fire or lightning resist aura you max resist would be 90. (or more if you have items that higher max resist) When you wouldnt be using those aura you would get a max of 82.(or more if you have items that higher max resist)

creating a smiter isnt hard just doing it in 1.10 is a pain in the royal ass, basic format for high smite damg 2k+ max smite, holy shield, no synergies required, o and one tiny BIG thing, 10X combat charms preferably with life thus break out ur rune bag and prepare to feel it lighten, a rar sacred targe/ronchande with + 2 pally skills and primastic does fine cuz HS will lower the fbr rate to max of deflection 20inc block and 30 faster block rate helps on the dex... etc (excluding all but how to obtain max smite damg) i dont feel like making a 1.10 pally v/t guide just yet so w/e or atleast not until i make a new judi
