Your comment was unnecessary!

Personally, I've never had a problem with D3V. I also question why so many people take offense. We're online! It's as a saying, I think, goes, "Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."

I don't believe his actions were without ban for a set period of time, like a month or two. I just don't believe permanent ban was necessary. All of his random threads brought about more activity which we're in dire need of. I admit that some of the old members coming back has increased productivity of the forums. However the case, with D3V back it will influence and increase more activity.

I think something like that should be called to order. Maybe make a new group and put him in the "Paroled" group. All of his posts have to be moderated for a certain amount of time. If he proves himself well, then he will be returned back to normal. Hopefully, not to screw up again.

D3v was permanently banned in the past, and has been banned a shitton of times other than that. You just weren't around then.

quikspy67 2008-07-11 02:34 PM

Lol well it look like he's unbanned now.

!King_Amazon! 2008-07-11 03:35 PM

No he isn't. He has been viewing the forums, but that is all. As far as I know, you can still view the forums when you're banned, but that's about it.

Whoa, what? This is new to me. I'm guessing you looked up the IPs.

Thanatos 2008-07-12 06:39 AM

I kinda figured he was D3v. Couldn't make it more inconspicuous eh???

He actually did a pretty good job of covering it up, honestly. In the beginning, he asked why he couldn't post without a mod approving his post, making it look like he didn't actually know about the approval system. Also, he posted his level/server in the WoW sticky, saying he played on server he doesn't play on. Not to mention that there isn't an exact IP match anyway, so doing an IP search on Hancock shows no matches with D3v. I had to actually look at both of their IP addresses and see that they're from the same place.

Actually it was more like pointing out that D3v is a sneaky bastard, but twist it however you want.

OWNED, nice.

Xenn 2008-07-12 03:37 PM

Why was he banned in the first place? For posting some dirty pictures or something?

jamer123 2008-07-12 03:38 PM

no xenn it was because he mouthed off to the wrong mod for one and he broke the rules too many times

I don't know why, but sometimes you really really crack me up. It's almost like you actually have some wit somehow. It's great stuff.
