I have work from 0830 to 2100 every single day since the begining of this month and I have managed to still keep my activity high and play some GW and other shit.

As for Blue, there's not much for him to do in the RPG Maker forum, as not many people post there. And he doesn't seem to post that often in the other public forums, which is why he only has 22% activity.

You never know, his work life may mean he dosn't have too much time to visit Zelaron and that the 22% activity he has is pretty good for his hours.

The same goes for the rest of the staff. The chances are they too don't have the time to visit Zelaron too often to post and moderate due to the hours they work, or things that they do on week nights etc.

If you want staff members with high activities, then you'll ave to start picking the people who have no real kind of life and make an effort to post every day. If you do that then you will get inexperienced staff members, who may abuse thier positions (many of these people will probably be young and not have a job. With age comes responsibility, so the young 'uns might have the power go to their heads).

To be honest, the current members of staff seem to do a good job. Take the current crisis. All of D3V's accounts and buddies seem to be banned quickly, and all the stupid threads they make get shitcanned. Even Thanatos is helping by telling anyone who mentions D3V to give him $5 on PayPal.

Talking about that, can I start a tab Thanatos?

I'm not necessarily saying that the staff is doing a bad job, you could have a supreme moderator that sits on the forums watching like a hawk every day all day but never posting and I would consider that doing a great job even though they have 28% activity, but it still doesn't look good to a new member for our staff to be so inactive.

There's been 15 threads in the past 3 months in the RM2k3 section, 5 of which were requests for character sprites. Only 6 actual requests for help.

And if you go back only one month (which activity is based on, right?), there are 2 total threads, 1 of which is a character sprite request, so you get to form your own conclusions there

That's because you make an effort to get on and post.

Even if it means I'm up to around midnight, I will try and get my 4 posts a day in. I managed it when I had computer troubles and had to reformat at 10 PM.

Some people, however, may come home from work absolutely knackered, or get home quite late and only have time to have something to eat and have a shower before going to bed.

8:30 to 9 will give a person an hour or two after work to do what they want - in your case come on here, play GW on your GW days and Halo 2 on your Halo 2 days, and whatever else youn may want to do. It only really takes 15 minutes to get 4 posts in, and then you've got 45 minutes or more to do something else.

However, if you worked a twelve hour night shift, then you'd come home 6 or 7 in the morning, have tea/breakfast, and go to sleep for the rest of the day beforen waking up, getting ready, and scooting off to do their twelve hour night shift again.

True, I usually stay up to 0100 or soo and wake up at 0730

I knew there was something I contributed to when I was staffed! I shuffled Mods all the time if their activity was slacking, more than anyone in the history of Zelaron! I am The Godfather.
