So I've just recently gotten into it, and I've been watching it on Adult Swim. Well last night his arm turned into some huge pulse rifle thingy and he shot a hole in the moon and destroyed a city. Is Vash a cyborg or something? I just thought that he was a really good gunfighter.

im not too sure wut he is. hes not human and the huge gun is caused by sumthin from his normal gun. he also has his one robotic arm that turns into another gun.

Well.. should be General Media.

Anyway, Vash and Knives are both power plants, to be vague. The thing in his arm is called the 'angel arm' and is basically his power being used externally.

It's a tie for me, actually.

Yeah, what exactly Vash and the power plants are is never completely explained in the series or the manga (which is more of an alternate storyline)

I've just completed watching the last episode. What bothered me a little was that he had such a problem with shooting any1, even though he has his reasons. I do love those funny faces now and then which makes it very humorous.

Yeah, I'm reading GTO, and it's great. Onizuka's students even comment about the faces he makes.

That was mt favorite part about his personality. It would have been too easy to make him into a bloodthirsty killer, or a man of low morals. He's a lot more interesting and complex because he solves bad situations with his mind, not with death. Like Superman to an extent.

Heh. That clinches it. Vash is the anime Superman in my book. Fuck Goku.

Yeah, Trigun is a great show, and I only think CB is slight better. I'm getting my friend to watch Trigun as well, and he likes it so far.

Oh yeah, this just made me laugh:

I've seen a cosplayer with the gun inside...it opened up and all, though most of the time it was all wrapped up.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it beats "The Sopranos," but yea, it's good.
