Shortcut desktop resolution

Is there any way to make a shortcut to change the desktop resolution? maybe a shortcut with keys but preferably an actual shortcut I can place on the desktop. So I would have 2 shortcuts on my desktop, 1 that switches to 1024x768 and the other to 1280x1024. Possible or no possible? I'm so lazy ....

Why not just right-click your desktop, go to video modes (I think it is...mine's stopped working for some reason...) and choose the different resolutions you want?
