What if YOU are the only living "PC" in the most realistic computer game ever, called life? Everyone else is an NPC, and time freezes whenever you're not looking in that direction. A computer just does some calculations of how it will look once you turn around again.
In other words, what doesn't exist in our senses at the moment doesn't exist at all.

so if im watching a porno and i look away for a moment they freeze in that position? hehehe
actually that theory is freaky but if YOU were the only pc and everyone was npcs you would know you were playing right
But, then that means everyone is a player, because everyone who reads this takes it as though there a player of the game, so there are no NPC's. Therefor, they all in fact DO move and act and do whatever when you're not looking at them.
...There's a film about something closer to this, a spanish one... Nadie conoce a nadie...
Anyways i get the idea.. I've though about it b4, u think deja vú feelings are software errors???
BTW this is an egocentric feeling that makes u feel the center of the world... as if everything is there JUST for you
i wish i could go into a world that mimicked Ultima Online, that would be cool to see dungeon deciet... but i think i would run from the first skeleton i saw
What if the real year is like 4501 and you went to this computer game building and paid 1000 star bucks =p to play it for 1 year, but in the game it seems like 1 life time, when you enter your memory is wiped clean, and there are several other real people in it too, but the others are just NPC with VERY VERY advanced ai.
no no no theres a american movie 2.. called truman or something...Jim Carey stars in it bout its the other way around he doesnt know his life is a movie itd be like that but opposite and itd be werid and i dunno......!
Don't you mean fabrication? And the movie was the Truman Show. And hey, are you suggeting that in the future there will be so many Starbucks in this country that we'll use them as currency!? There are enough on every corner already.
