Shinehost is dead, so fix your sig pics.

www.shinehost.com said 2002-05-06: Due to excessive abuse of our service, we have discontinued operation of this domain effective immedietly.

Therefore, none of the sig pics hosted there work anymore. Please see the following thread for some advice.

Please note that for this to work on most free hosts, your sig must be something.txt .
something.gif , something.txt.gif , something.txt.jpg or something.jpg will not work. Browsers are smart enough to figure out that it's really a pic, but the servers are not.

It's obvious that about half of the sig pics on this board were hosted by shinehost

Damned ! Yoursighost.com allow only up to 50k, and my sig is 85k.... Grrrr, i'll have to reduce it ....

Well, WetWired , i meant other than Goecities/20m/angelfire...
Because, even with the .txt extension, it doesn't work anymore (on 20m at least), and i don't like/want to gat any account on these f***ng Geocities and consor...

When I asked for another site, i meant a little one like Yoursighost or shinehost.

Anyway, I fixed my sig again. But if someone knows another 'little' host for any sig/pict/files, just tell the adress here, and I'll be pleased to have a look there...

.txt doesn't work on 20m, but it works on Geocites, and I think some others also. Mine is off of free.prohosting.com . (With the .txt)

I suppose I could just move it to my site now and not mess with .txt , however :]
