In my opinion, aside from his statement about homosexuals, he came off pretty well. He seemed sensible and reasonable. The president of Columbia, on the other hand, came off as a bigot.
We were disrespectful to him, and I think that's wrong. Even if he's a dictator blah blah what the fuck ever, he was a guest in our country, and the way we treated him was incredibly disrespectful.
I don't care what he thinks/believes. There's no reason at all for us to be disrespectful to another nation's leader when they are visiting in our country.
Especially at Columbia. The president of Columbia, the guy who INVITED him, was bashing him right before his speech. There's just no reason for that. It's inappropriate.
