If your immune system is weak (but not like crazy, HIV weak), you stand a better chance of surviving it than healthy people. That's what makes these strains of the flu so rough; they kill healthy young adults more so than old/weak folks.

When the solution to the 'pandemic' is to wash your hands and use common sense (avoid sick people) you know there is nothing to worry about. The media plays into the stupidity of the common folk, and are making a huge story out of nothing too major.

It's odd how when the Swine Flu kills a handful of Mexicans everyone freaks out and is worried about it spreading etc, but there have been thousands killed in this current drug war they are engaged in, and yet, nobody seems to give a rats ass about that.

Because the drug war is easier to avoid.

This swine flu has created too much of a panic. Governments are taking the necessary procedures to isolate it, and that's that. If it weren't for the news, we probably wouldn't have heard of it.
