Woot! I finally mastered the flying kick in a suit of Heavy Infantry Plate Mail. Pretty fun when you see a guy in so much metal fly into another guy who isn't expecting it.

That is exactly what I mean and if you want to see the videos and pictures go to an SCA related site. Excapt the armor is much better and heavier looking than that decorative piece.
FYI I have only gotten four feet in distance so far.

I participated in it for a while a few years ago, there's something to be said for getting in armor and going to beat the hell out of each other on a sunny afternoon.
In my not complete outfit I do it's supposed to be like a hunters.
A fur vest, a dark gray tunic and my boots are the only things I have done so far since I am making them myself. My gloves are next. Also any pictures you find of people in armor may be hard to see because the last thing you want is flash on when taking a picture of a guy who has mirrored steel on the inside of his helmet...yes I said guy because women are smarter and don't make such stupid custom items.
And who the hell wants to be cool? That went out in 1999 because they found out cool people had multiple STDs and were eligible for darwin awards.
