Zelaron gadget for Google?

How hard would it be for someone to make a google gadget for your igoogle homepage or google sidebar?

Something that just showed a list of newpost that links you to them and maybe your PM box.

That would be cool...

Like the picture below I have a Zelaron tab made that I would like to have new post content on it.
