Question Grandia III
Reply
Posted 2007-05-17, 09:12 PM
Lately my brother has been suggesting (Quite persistantly, I might add.) that I go out and buy Grandia III. I've finally gotten around to looking it up (After about a month of his nagging.) recently and really it looks like a rather interesting game. He says the graphics are great, and that the storyline is apparently on par with that of FFXII (Id est, lots of plot and slow leveling. It's a two disk game...for the PS2.).

Has anyone else played the game that could give me a bit more feedback before I actually decide to go out and buy it?

A doublepost is defined as replying to the same post, or to yourself within 10 minutes without someone else posting between those two posts.
So it's not a double post.

i played it, it's both GOOD and BAD,

pros
the combat system is well i'd give it 4/5 it requires timing, and is a mix of real time with the original take turns to attack system, you can add up combos unleash better attacks, and even boost up your lvl by who knows how much, if you pull it off right

cons
the game is freakign CRAZY the best char is your mom who is like younger than you (and more hotter WTF?!) she leaves your party with her lover!!!! and you the mainchar dn't give a damn, i mean wtf?!

I wouldn't say that having a story on par with FFXII is really a good thing. FFXII has a pretty rubbish story, it's the gameplay that it has going for it.

Yes I'm aware this thread is months old and I'm also aware that Kyeruu is a dumbass.
