Rare photo of Space Shuttle Sonic Boom
Reply

I thought this was quite amazing.

The photo shows the Space Shuttle passing through the Sound Barrier and the Snoic Boom that is formed. You can see that the back of the Shuttle that hasn't passed through the Sound Barrier is blurred, whilst the front is in focus.

Ha, first thing I thought of was Guile. That reminds me, I should dig up my SNES and play Street Fighter II: Turbo.

Lenny, where did you find that?

I've not seen that one...though I remember seeing a video of some jet blasting through the sound barrier. Knocked everyone who was watching it down.

It's one of the News items on Torrentspy.

EDIT: Is this the picture of the Fighter Jet?

I think that's the video to go with the F-18 pic I posted. No sound though...

I can't find the one I've seen. And it was such a good one too...
