The "X" in Xmas is actually the Greek letter "Chi" which is the first letter of the Greek spelling of Christ. That's how we come to abbreviate the word "Christmas" to "Xmas"

The purpose of the indentation at the bottom of a wine bottle is to strengthen the structure of the bottle and to trap the sediments in the wine.
