Buffalo Bill Codys' Congressional Medal of Honor was rescinded after his death. The reason being that these awards may only be made to active servicemen. He was not in any of the armed forces when it was presented to him !

There was only one pointer, the hour hand, on the first clocks made in the fourteenth century. The minute and seconds hands were added in the 16th and 17th Centuries
