Opening night of our musical tonight (Bernstein's On the Town, if anyone is interested), and it was brilliant! My buzz disappeared (all day my lips have been buzzing if I hit anything above a middle C, and consequently the sound that left the Trumpet was buzzy), and the band played very well. The audience enjoyed it, too!

in reply to Chruser's post starting "Solitude."
The second night of the musical was wonderful! Recorded, too, so I should be able to sit down and watch it some time - it'll be strange seeing what's on stage, having only listened to it for most of the time.
Had a fantastic Summer Ball last night, spent the evening playing on a Wii and PS3 at my friends house (back home - came back for my Gran's 80th) today, and I'm back to Durham tomorrow.
