The reason it says that God loves you is that all you have to do to be accepted into Heaven, according to the Bible, is to accept Jesus as a savior and believe. It's an alternative.

All humans "do something wrong." There is no way to avoid it. Destination after life doesn't depend upon your condition of sin, only your condition of salvation.
