Now i get where you have your confusion.

Fireball sorc are further then orb max range.

Which mean that you cannot tele arround the fire sorc cause when you start to tele TOWARD the fire sorc. Well the fire sorc is already gone. While you tele on a field of hydra. True you can cast orb but fireball sorc is already at least a screen away so if you orb only thing you will hit is air and hydra will hit you.

You cant hit what you cannot reach. Fireball casting is very fast.

Just like you said any one got their patern and so it's possible to guess where to cast fireball to hit a ice sorc while it tele.

On the other hand, the ice sorc cannot tele arround the fire sorc since the ice sorc will never get close and no matter how much you understand the patern of the fire sorc it wont make you magicly get near. Which mean you cannot hit and that mean you cannot kill.

Ofcourse you can.. orb sorcs aren't meant to do damage, but to slowly kill their opponent and dodge attacks.

Good SvS duels (in .09) lasted atleast 5-10 minutes.. orb hits, but not with too much force, you just have to estimate their tps and go for it.

Fire sorc arnt ment to be catched.
Well, beleive what you want. My only loss in duel were against a trap ass that would kill me once a while in hell and when i had 3 player vs me the 3 players were 1 ww barb, 1 dueling necro and a trap ass.

I suggest you read blackshadows well thought out posts.

DUH they aren't meant to be caught, but they sure as hell will be when tping is involved, they have to stop and AIM, when you have a huge radius to worth with, just a general area is sufficient (quick look at mini-map)

Here again you show me your lack of aiming skills. I always aimed fireball with mini-map. If you cant do it with mini map using fireball you might as well stick with something lower like frozen orb.

You said it yourself.
Everyone as a patern and that goes for teleporting too.
When you cast fireball in svs you do not aim at where the sorc is. But you do aim at multiple teleport possibility by looking where they are when you see them on the mini-map. It will not hit often granted. But then again you do not need many hit to kill with fireball sorc and this strat make it so the ice sorc will never have a chance to give a hit. Cause each time the ice sorc get near, the fire sorc is gone again.

..my pattern is 1 of 3 directions (coming from north east, north, and north west)

First off, you do not know where I am going, except for a general area (1 of 3 areas actually) and than you do not know how far/close I will get, but you will have to decide, before I bust out my orb, or 1 part of your life is gone, and I'll do it again and again..

Secondly, the aiming involved makes being accurate take atleast twice as long as busting out an orb, simply because orbs radius is MUCH greater.

Thats where mini-map come in handy. I can see where you are and when you aint in radar range you dont know where i am either so i can set up a camp of hydra and wait for you. Once you get to me well i can teleport away and fireball cause you will be most likely be hit by hydra and going into recovery. If you get away alive from that i can just tele away and repeat that simple and very useful process.

both of you guys are missing the point fires potential is just as strong as cold orb coverage = hydra coverage at diff levels, fire ball is the true killer, and insolence in your diagrams... HONESTLY WHO THE FUCK STAYS STILL AND CASTS HYDRAS LIKE THAT, stop dueling noobs, hydra placement is purely deffensive while fball is offensive, thus in equivlance to orb coverage, so what orb has greater instant area coverage, with a fire sorc you make a mistake... well your toast literally

Usually I don't like to get into this kind of dueling argument...

It depends on the player. If a Cold Sorc can play without mistake, she'll win. Likewise, if a Fire Sorc can play perfectly, she'll win. If they ARE to make mistake however....

Vs Fire Sorc, you can't make more than 1-2 mistake, because you will be on the ground if that happens.

Vs Cold Sorc, you can afford take some shards of Orb (I don't think you can actually land a Full Orb on skilled sorc...) and just suffer medium to minor damage. Cold doesn't do as much damage as Fire, and with Ravnes and other Absorbs...

Kuja, how come you keep referring to 'yourself' but you do not have an SvS sorc?

Fireball is FAR to over powered, and in PVPEast duels, sorcs are not allowed ANY obsorb.

you talk about teleporting with a frozen orb sorc....fire/lighting sorc would waste you dude..you want to go around tping yeah go ahead and tp and try hitting me with a frozen orb...my TS will hit you and stop you for a second so i can hit you with a fireball...there is no chance for you to possibly his me with that orb...and since you do teleport around then all i have to do is sit and wait for you to run into my ts and stop...i have never been hit with a FO or ever will.

noob both sorcs have equal chances of killing e/o assuming gear and stats optimizied, whoever makes the first mistake is a goner, i bet i could make u tele into my orb or catch u wit a fball, ts is junk, any sorc opted would have around 2k min life and full LR would NOT EVEN stun, learn some pvp and dont be some arrogant ahole, boosting how good he is
