PS2 or Xbox I want your opinion

you should get ps2 first it rocks second it has the two best games grand therf auto 3 and grand theft auto vice city (wich i dont think n e thing will be able to get better until the ps3 and up)

I try not to buy a lot of Microsoft stuff.

As for consoles go with PS2 definately. And if you cant decide on either just get a gamecube :]

Get an Xbox, it's by far the best console. You gotta think AHEAD, AKA in 2-3months, when like 20 AAA titles will be coming out. Don't be scared to think ahead, because the other consoles won't be coming out until late 2005-2006. The problem with the XBox is that it has NO valuable developer support. First off, Microsoft is in the same boat as Sony in the fact that they can't make their own games worth squat. Nintendo has the advantage there. But, Sony has HUGE 2nd party support from Square, Eidos, etc. So, what exactly does the XBox have going for it? Nothing. Microsoft has a handful of 3rd party multi-console developers, a few unknown 2nd party companies, and a terribly powerful console that no one will ever learn how to use properly. It upsets me to see such a monstrous piece of hardware go to waste like this.

I never play my xbox anymore. You'll get bored of it after 2 months. Trust me.

Im proud to be a GC owner. The many different titles have so much replay value that I can play it all day and all night.... every day.
