I wouldn't really consider North Carolina down south, but it's considered part of the south.

Either way, I don't see why people just WOULDN'T have sweet tea. I mean, there are places that have tea, how hard is it for them to put some sugar in half of it when they make it?
They don't do it because people mostly drink sweet tea in certain regions, its mainly a southern thing.

Mountain Dew is my favorite soda. I also drink TONS of tea, green tea, raspberry tea, my favorite chocolate mint tea, peppermint tea...etc.

I make my own tea because in this state all restuarants have is beer, and I certainly don't see the point of drinking an ingested poison that tastes like yak piss.

Weed tea is the weirdest I have had, I think I said that before.

I like sweet tea. That Lipton Green Tea is kind of a knockoff of it, but I still drink it. Most of the kids in my high school got into it because 'OMG ANTIOXIDANTS! I'M FUCKING HEALTHY AND COOL IF I DRINK THIS!'

Nestea almost always has lemon flavor added. That's disgusting.

Sweet tea is the same thing as iced tea, just with sugar.

Now, mind you, you can't add sugar to iced tea and call it sweet tea. You have to add the sugar while the tea is hot so it dissolves.

Because sweet hot tea is usually nasty. Hot tea is best brewed until red and without any additives.

McDonalds has sweet tea, and it's not just down South, because they had it in Baltimore when I was there for Otakon.

But you can't have hot tea without sugar in it! That's just.............. bad!

I might not drink the foul stuff, but I know that you put sugar in tea or else it's bitter.

If you're talking about what I said, I'm not talking about hot tea. I'm saying, when you make iced tea, the tea is first hot, and whether you add sugar to that before cooling it determines whether it is sweet tea or iced tea.

No, the tea only become bitter if you brew it too long. If you watch it and stop it when it becomes a deep red, it isn't bitter at all.
