It's because the N64 had games like Yoshi's Story. It WAS a good game, but it was also a child's game. Kind of funny really, n64 was an awesome shooter console, what with that controller and all. It had tons of gore and what the average joe refers to as "mature" on it, but still a handful of games geared for younger kids and they screw the system line for a while. Heh, Turok was fun, also fun on GCN. GCN is much much different then what they think it is, and sadly most people don't realize that. They also probably only realize that as far as I know, when game news groups refer to the gcn as doing poor, or the xbox doing really well, their only talking about the US market. And for the fact that a vast, vast majority of american gamers are just too stupid to be inclined to play something more difficult, or use a fair amount of their brain, and that microsoft just about owns the damn country, it's no wonder they can turn american brain mush into money. They just want something that's extremely simple and requires next to no thiking. Sad, in't it? It'd be much, much better if they wrapped up an international market instead of just stating US sales. :\

What I've learned from living in this country : America is a bad word, so is Religion.
