Thats goth makeup. Its to make people look at you and say "Hey, you are a despressed, weird looking loser". That picture seems like the guy has the makeup on to be an ass with no purpose.
Most people at school who dress in all black and say they're goth and hang around alot of the same people are just wannabe goths who just want to to look like Marilyn Manson and blah. But they act mostly like all the other people around school.
