No, but some staff that are inactive and don't do anything should be replaced.

Without even reading anyone else's posts, I can already say that this is not a very good idea.

1.) You guys can say whatever you want, when ever you want, and you will always be heard. You don't need an election of some sort to do that.
2.) Moderator positions are filled from observation over time. It is more than obvious for the Admins to make decisions on who should get what positions. We see ALL.

It's just not necessary.

Won't work, but only because each election "cycle" someone's getting fired. Let's say Slaynish becomes Sup Mod for whatever reason, maybe some odd election promise or something.

1) Slaynish does a brilliant job of modding, which naturally pisses all the other members off because their posts are always getting deleted. Bye Slaynish.

2) Slaynish does absolutely nothing, thereby pissing the other Sup Mods and Admins off. Bye Slaynish.

3) Slaynish does a moderate job, pissing off BOTH the Admins/Mods ("We can find someone much better") and a bunch of regular, respected members ("He deleted my brilliant thread!"). Bye Slaynish.

If there's really that much of a problem with certain staff members, I trust that higher ranking (at least) staff members will do something about it. As for the whole "publicly electing new staff" motion...I'm against it. That's something I think should be handled purely by the staff.

Id est, it should be discussed amongst themselves, they should decide who would be good candidates for the positions, and they should privately contact that person to see if they're up to the job. I don't think it's any of our business.

I for one actually trust their decisions.

D3v

No longer does your opinion matter. Stop posting them, and all will be well.

Thing is, Chruser doesn't care if you dont like soverign, he doesnt care if half the board doesnt like soverign. He cares if soverign does his job. It doesnt fucking matter what you think. This is a hirearchy, not a democracy. Just sit down and agree with everything the superiors have to say, and shut the fuck up.

Another thing.

I dont appreciate you using me as an example, this goes to everyone. You all think that just because I'm 12 that i'm automaticly retarted, and stupid, and small brained. Just let it die, i'm not stupid anymore, that was in the past and cool off from any troubles I've caused everyone. Just stop worrying about me in the past, and start worrying about the problems from here on into the future.

He doesn't have to sit down and shut the fuck up. He is more than welcome to express his views on the situation, as long as he does so under control and with plenty of proof to back it up. In this case, Sov apologized, and all should be well.

Thats what i meant, actually.

He just needs to know when enough is enough, and by saying that, i put my foot down.

He can express his views and opinions and feelings, just aslong as he doesnt try and ruin somebody else's day doing it.

As an example:

Calling staff members retarted... I wouldn't appreciate that. Expecially when he's getting so many other people anti-flag. (or so to speak..)
