as you're all so uneducated, i'll fill in what moe really means >.>
for starters, moe is pronounced "mo-eh". SO many people get this wrong >.>
the is not english word that has the same meaning that "moe" does in japanese, so the best way for me to explain it is that it's that kinda feeling that sorta makes you melt.
for example:
if you see two masculine brothers hug, this
situation would be 'moe'.
likewise, if a little girl (lets name her sakura-chan) loses her best friend (lets say her best friends name was hitomi-chan) in a car accident, and you ask sakura-chan if she's alright, a 'moe' reply would be if she said something like:
"it's okay, hitomi-chan's mother died when she was little, so i think hitomi-chan will be really happy to be with her mother now. even though i miss her very much, i know that if i cry i will make hitomi-chan very upset. so i cant cry, i just cant!"
and she ends up crying even though she's trying so hard not to, and then she grips you in a fierce hug. -that would make
the little girl (sakura-chan) 'moe'
i guess you could say that 'moe' is anything romantic that makes young high school girls get all bubbly.
oh yeah, if you want to see a show that spoofs the moe genre to the extreme, (im assuming you know what a spoof is) watch a series called "moetan" it's 12 episodes =)
and rurouni storm: what you described is not moe at all. what you described can be described as 'seinen'. but also be aware that most (but not all) seinen shows are dominated by ecchi jokes and situations, often relating to panties >.<
P.S.
